We are seeking a skilled 3D surface modeler and renderer who ideally specializes in Autodesk Alias software, but we're open to Blender, C4D, or Rhino. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate 2D images into highly detailed and realistic 3D models. Additionally, proficiency in creating high-quality renders is required. The task involves creating sub-division 3D surface models based on provided images and producing photorealistic renders. The files will be transferred to the customer on completion of the project. The successful applicant should have the following skills:
– Proficient in Autodesk Alias software or similar CAD surfacing software used for Industrial Design.
– Proficient in creating quick, high quality surface models of car accessories, both interior and ext.
– Strong knowledge of 3D modeling techniques
– Excellent understanding of sub-division surface modeling
– Ability to create realistic 2D renders of both automobiles and product designs.
Client will provide:
-CAD models of the rough engineering CAD that will need to be packaged/ contained.
-CAD of the OEM vehicle that the accessory will compliment.
You will provide:
-One, full ~8hr day of 3D modeling the 8 concepts on Thurs, 6/29
-Check in with client after 8hrs to view the shapes and solicit his feedback
– ~4hrs more CAD modeling to refine the shapes per Ben's direction on 6/30
– ~8 hrs of rendering the new CAD shapes in Keyshot or VRed on the OEM vehicle between 6/31- 7/2
Due by EOD July 3 at the latest.
