Build a responsive Marketplace Web Application – Upwork
I'm looking for a front end/full stack developer to help me develop a marketplace web application. You will be working along side myself – a software engineer and a mechanical engineer that will be providing you with layout ideas, suggestions, design styles and general guidance.
This project will begin with a home page, login page, registration page and profile page that users can log into and view their profiles and update their information etc. It also includes accompanying myself with developing the database structure and selecting various technologies and architectures that you think will suit the application.
Then, we will move onto developing pages that allow users to view items and list their own items on the website. Features will include filtering and sorting through certain item categories and sorting items by distance will be required.
This is just a simple overview of our project as it stands, there will be more features that arise during development.
This position will best suit someone that is most comfortable designing and developing the layout and front end of the website, while providing help with the back end when needed. So it would help if you've worked on some front end applications and have some back end web experience.
There is no finite deadline for this project as of now but this is something we are both working on roughly 3-8 hours a week each. This is something I estimate will take 1-2 months to accomplish at this rate.
There is more potential for future work when changes/updates or new functionality is required.
We aren't sure about the technologies we should be using, is ReactJS/Angular etc necessary for this project and how to display dynamic information to the users. So some guidance on how you think we can achieve these goals would be beneficial.
Hourly Range: $10.00-$25.00
