Description:
We are in search of a talented manga artist to join us in creating a unique and engaging crossover manga inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK). Both experienced and budding artists are encouraged to apply! The project involves both the adaptation and expansion of existing JJK panels and the creation of new, original panels to weave in additional characters and story elements.
Responsibilities:
– Adapt and expand upon existing JJK panels to fit the crossover narrative.
– Design and draw new, generic characters and integrate them seamlessly into existing scenes.
– Develop detailed illustrations for two or three primary characters based on textual descriptions and visual references, with creative freedom granted for character design.
– Possibly contribute ideas to enhance and refine the storyline, although this is not a requirement.
Skills Required:
– Proficiency in manga-style illustration, with a portfolio demonstrating previous works (not mandatory for beginners).
– Ability to mimic the aesthetic and style of JJK or comparable manga.
– Experience in character design, showcasing the ability to bring textual descriptions and visual references to life (welcome to artists building their portfolios).
– Adaptability and creativity, with a willingness to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
– Collaborative spirit and open communication skills, especially for those interested in contributing to the story development.
Budget:
The estimated budget for this task is negotiable based on the complexity and quality of work. We are open to discussions to ensure fair compensation aligning with the skills and effort required.
If the scope of work is assessed to be more complex than initially estimated, we are open to renegotiating the budget to ensure that it commensurates with the effort and quality delivered.
Time Required:
We anticipate the initial phase of the project to be completed within 3-4 weeks. However, we are open to adjusting the timeline to accommodate the artist’s schedule and ensure quality work.
