Cell-Cultured Sausage Investments : clever carnivore

‘Clever Carnivore,’ a Chicago-based food tech company, recently completed a seed round of financing resulting in $7 million USD raised for the company. The company states these funds will be primarily used to invest in its flagship project, cell-cultured pork bratwurst sausages. However, once this product is complete, the company will motion toward investing its resources into future cell-cultured meat projects.

When speaking on the seed funding, Virginia Rangos, the co-founder and CEO of Clever Carnivore, stated: “We are delighted with the enthusiastic support from our investors in this seed round.
