Algorithm-Calculated Acoustic Panels : Modern Architecture Solution

The Formfeld Wall Panels are marketed as a modern architecture solution that confronts the common acoustic challenges in spaces characterized by floor-to-ceiling windows and smooth concrete floors. These panels were built using a special algorithm that calculates surfaces that scatter sound waves to address the issue of direct sound reflection and minimize noise levels. The use of perforation further enhances the acoustic environment, contributing to a pleasant sound image.

This modern architecture solution is available in wood or plaster. The Formfeld Wall Panels can be customized as individual pieces or for complete wall paneling.

The panels were developed by Munich-based Simon Vorhammer whose expertise extends to teaching Parametric Design and Digital Fabrication at Biberach University of Applied Sciences, along with previous guest lecturing engagements at TU Munich, University of Sydney, and FH Munich.
