We are on a mission to create and release the best quality content that we possibly can, and that's where you come in! We are looking to hire a talented B2B Copy Editing specialist that will be able to copy-edit our internal/client-facing collateral to a high standard before we share it with our clients.
We have recently just created lots of new collateral, and we are in need of an expert to do final checks of our new content. The availability to support our content creation on a long-term basis is an advantage.
B2B Copy Editor Responsibilities:
– Complete final checks/edits of all Dharma's written content.
– Correct spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.
– Make sure the text is in the right style for the intended audience.
(ideally, you will understand our target audience or be able to quickly
adapt to the audiences that we are creating content for, i.e. workplace
wellbeing)
– Make sure the meaning of the text is clear.
– Pick up our brand voice quickly and be able to detect where copy or
content is not quite hitting the desired or ideal voice.
– To complete all work within the target dates agreed upon.
B2B Copy Editor Skills and Requirements:
– Proven B2B copy editing/copywriting experience (required)
– A comprehensive understanding of correct uses of spelling, grammar &
punctuation (required)
– Excellent written & verbal communication skills (required)
– Impeccable attention to detail (required)
– The ability to accept feedback/constructive criticism & work well under
time pressure (required)
– Extensive knowledge of the English language. (required)
– Flexible and able to take on small projects on short notice (required)
– Copy Writing/Copy Editing/English Degree or qualification (desirable)
– Experience working within the wellbeing industry/if you have a personal
connection to wellbeing (desirable)
We ideally would like to work on a piece-by-piece basis, so for example, we will need support copy editing the following documents:
a) Assessment brochure: 6.5 pages but only about 800 words across these pages
b) Consultancy brochure: 10.5 pages with about 1200 words total across all pages'
In your proposals, please include the following information:
1. Please provide us with a quote for what you would charge to copy edit documents like the ones stated above. I.e. would you charge per document, and if so, how much? Or please provide details of how your charging structure would be.
2. Please send full information about your experience working in B2B industries and provide example work/testimonials from clients you have worked with before.
3. Please confirm whether you would be able to work on short-term notice, i.e. how much notice would you need? & how quickly could you turn around these documents (using the above examples as a scope for your answers).
4. Bonus points: please include a small section about what wellbeing means to you and why you would be a good fit for us as a company.
