Web Developer Needed for Tutoring Website with Advanced Scheduling Capabilities
Description:
We are seeking a skilled web developer to create a comprehensive online platform for our tutoring business. The website should be mobile-responsive and feature a professional, welcoming design that aligns with our existing branding.
Key Features:
User Roles and Authentication: The website should support different user roles (admins, tutors, students, parents) with appropriate permissions for each.
Advanced Scheduling System: Tutors should be able to set their availability, and students/parents should be able to book sessions within these slots. The system should integrate with a location-based service like Google Maps API to calculate travel times and distances for in-person sessions.
Trial Sessions: The system should support the booking of trial sessions at a discounted rate, with certain tutors set as available for these sessions by the admin.
Pricing and Payments: The system should support a pricing model based on the subject and tutor's experience, with manual tracking of non-credit card payments. Integration with a payment gateway for credit card payments is required.
Notifications and Reporting: The system should send email notifications for various events and provide reporting and analytics capabilities (tutor performance, most popular subjects, revenue by tutor).
Future Updates:
We plan to release new features every 2-3 months, including a file-sharing feature and possibly SMS notifications. We also want a system for users to suggest new features and report issues.
