Build a telegram bot – Upwork
I am looking for a developer who can create a Telegram bot that can receive Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push notifications and forward them to a specific Telegram channel or group. The bot should be implemented using the Python programming language and utilize the python-telegram-bot library, installation and use instruction must be included
Requirements:
Setup: The bot should be configured with a Telegram Bot API token to interact with the Telegram API.
Firebase Integration: The bot should integrate with Firebase by utilizing the firebase-admin library and Firebase service account credentials.
Notification Forwarding: When the bot receives an FCM push notification, it should extract the notification payload and forward it to a designated Telegram channel or group.
Deliverables:
Python script: A well-documented Python script that implements the Telegram bot and handles Firebase push notifications.
Setup instructions: Clear instructions on how to install dependencies, configure the bot, and run the script.
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience working with the Telegram Bot API and the python-telegram-bot library.
Familiarity with Firebase Cloud Messaging and the firebase-admin library.
Ability to handle asynchronous tasks and implement error handling.
