CAD Drafter – Mechanical Design – Upwork
The primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to help support the design and build of our robotic assembly systems. Duties include using SolidWorks CAD software prepare technical drawings of individual components. You will work closely with our design engineers to ensure translation of mechanical designs into detailed parts drawings. We will be providing a package of component designs that we need translated into technical drawings. We expect this project to take less than 1 week to complete, we do anticipate having more projects in the future.
Skills and Abilities:
– Proficiency with SolidWorks software, with a solid understanding of drafting principles and workflows
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent technical design skills
– Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience and/or Education:
– Formal drafting training (certificate, trade school, industry classes, etc.) or previous work experience in CAD drafting
– Proficiency with SolidWorks software
