We are a software development agency seeking a Content Creator on a contract basis. We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to work on one of our client projects. As a Content Creator, you will play a crucial role in developing compelling content that showcases the benefits and features for our clients in the education industry. Your work will contribute to attracting and engaging prospective students, promoting our online learning opportunities, and enhancing the overall brand presence of IU Online.
Responsibilities:
– Develop engaging and persuasive content that highlights the unique benefits, features, and value proposition of IU Online's courses and degree programs.
– Collaborate with subject matter experts and program coordinators to understand the nuances and key selling points of each program.
– Conduct research to gather relevant information and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and educational advancements.
– Create clear, concise, and informative content across various platforms, including website pages, blog articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
– Tailor the content to resonate with target audiences, addressing their needs, aspirations, and pain points.
– Ensure content is SEO-friendly, optimized for search engines, and adheres to best practices in digital marketing.
– Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and other team members to enhance content with visuals and multimedia elements.
– Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency.
– Monitor content performance and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future content strategies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
– Proven experience in content creation, preferably in the education or e-learning industry.
– Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
– Strong understanding of content marketing principles and strategies.
– Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.
– Ability to conduct research and gather information from diverse sources.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
– Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other relevant software tools.
– Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective content formats.
– Experience with multimedia content creation (e.g., video scripts, infographics) is a plus.
– Passion for education and a genuine interest in promoting online learning opportunities.
Hourly Range: $7.00-$25.00
