Custom mod to "Eventin" WordPress Plugin: Only allow users logged into Prestashop CMS to book. – Upwork
We have 1 website where 2 CMS systems coexist: a public WordPress (corporate website , let´s say website1.com) and a private eCommerce Prestashop (let´s say website1.com/shop/).
In WordPress/website1.com we have the corporate information and an events calendar set up with the WordPress plugin "Eventin". Imagine for example the event "Tourism MasterClass on 25th August 2023 with 100 seats limited to registered eCommerce users".
On the other hand, we have in Prestashop thousands of users with their user & password already created and working.
WE NEED: If any visitor (public) accesses the wordpress (website1.com) and wants to sign up for a public event, the "Eventin plugin" must be manipulated so that before confirming his seat place in the event of the "Eventin plugin", the user is first logged in the Prestashop Private eCommerce (Prestashop).
In this way we will achieve that:
a) Any internet user can see the events in WordPress.
b) Only those with an eCommerc (prestashop) username and password will be able to book their place.
The developer will have access to:
– WordPress development with Eventin plugin installed
– Development Prestashop (with Prestashop users to be validated to be able to book events)
– If we need to buy some "Eventin" plugin extension, we will do it
PS: We are also open to use any other calendar plugin. It just needs to have these features:
– unique events, and also repetitive events
– Photos, schedule and description of each event.
– Monthly event calendar
– Limited seats per event, Confirmation emails for customer and website owner
