Dedicated Dating Show Channels : MAFS Live

Channel 4 is launching MAFS Live as its first free and ad-supported television service in the UK and it’s a channel entirely dedicated to sharing non-stop, all-hours reruns of Married at First Sight. MAFS Live will air episodes from series six to eight of the hit dating show around the clock, and it will be made available via the Channel 4 BVOD service for two months through web browsers, mobile devices and tablets.

The intention behind the launch of this channel is to “gauge viewer appetite for the FAST format,” according to the UK broadcaster, and there’s the potential for more free advertising-supported streaming television (FAST) services to be offered in the future. As part of this pilot period, Channel 4 will be gathering insights on viewer engagement, views and user behavior.
