We record the audio as batches of 1-2k names which is around 40-80 mins respectively and then add that file + the master video which is the same for all prospects to the tool and it processing the email template, the videos and sets them up neatly into Gsuite Drafts ready for us and our clients to check and send.

It combines 3 simple variables:
Google Sheets (list of first names and emails)
Vimeo (to house the videos)
Gsuite (2k cold emails per day to send)
Again the tool is complete, it works, you wouldn't be building anything from zero or scratch as that has been done over the last 16 weeks, which brings me on to the task.
The Task:
We're looking for a second paid of eyes (Back End and/or Full Stack Developer) to come in and fully audit the tool.
Once you have context and have watched the SOP video, asked questions to my existing developer and myself in our Upwork Group, you will then proceed to solve the following problems in the next 48hrs or less as we needed to go live on Monday and we're now heading in to Thursday. Again the tool works, but here are the minor issues currently I'm not happy with.
1. Reliability. The tool works +70% of the time but I'm still not 100% confident in it's reliability. I want you to make a full audit of the code, and come up with suggestions about accuracy of the tool, having a way for clients and myself to know what error are when they arise (currently we're blind to it) and increase speed of email + video production (we'll get to that in a moment)
2. Single Point Sensitivity: I want you to check all of the code, where it's being housed and how we can get it to be under my control (I own it) and so that if my developer is dies or is incapacitated the tool isn't effected. I am not technical, but I've worked with developers for a very long time so you'll need to get a plan in place with me and the existing developer to do that. For example if there is stuff which is isolated to my developers laptop etc, thats a perfect example of Single Point Sensitivity, and that will need to change immediately. Everything needs to be in one place and I need a written SOP I can hand to a new developer at anytime and it has everything they need to keep the tool live and as business as normal.
3. Speed. Currently the tool is on a 16GB server with a 4GB cores (AWS), but my developer says the only way to increase speed of production is have multiple small batches to collapse time frames. Currently the tool produces 1,000 videos emails in 1,000 mins so 16hrs 6mins. This is way too long. We need it to be 2,000 video emails in 1-2 hrs. This and reliability are the TOP 2 issues currently.
4. Finally, my current developer is good, but is split between other jobs and so I want a new developer who can not only maintain and deal with client issues with the tool day to day (all of our support is done via Trello where each client gets their own Trello Board to submit issues, we have 5 clients including me at the moment) and also to help implement two outstanding current updates we want to deploy that my developer can't get to with:
1 – A job tracker to see in real time how fast jobs are taking so the client can see in real time each job being processed and also when completed
2 – Finish off the first name directory where when a client says a name the tool will automatically take that name again once its been said previously because obviously there are more than 1 Bob, 1 Tony and 1 Sarah in the world right? Multiple names will come up (esp popular ones) over and over again.
You will be assigned as a fresh paid of eye on the project and come in and do a full audit of the tool from top to bottom (front to back) and give answers on what you suggest we do, and if it sounds like a fit we'll bring you on for a weeks trial and see what you can deliver within that time.
We're not desperate here, the tool is built and working but I want to be 100% confident it's meeting my expectations which at the moment based on the above the new developer we choose to bring in with start to work through.
The Next Steps.
Once you have applied for the job and outlined why you feel you'd be a suitable fit, I will make my selections and you'll be invited to join our existing Upwork group (so I'll need your exact Upwork email you use here to add you quickly to the group where myself and the existing developer have communicated throughout).
You'll be given the SOP videos for the tool and it's your responsibility to watch those in full so you have context and comprehension quickly on the tool so we're not wasting time with lots of back and fourth in the group.
