Elevated QSR Rib Sandwiches : McRib Deluxe

The McDonald’s McRib Deluxe is a new take on the QSR brand’s signature sandwich that’s making its debut in Australia to provide diners with a gussied up option to try on their next visit.

The sandwich boasts the same signature pork meat patty smothered in the BBQ McRib sauce before being topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions and pickles with a final topping of McChicken sauce. The sandwich thus has a more substantial profile when compared to the McRib, which only features pickles and onions as toppings.

The McDonald’s McRib Deluxe is being offered alongside the original McRib, but both sandwiches are limited-time offerings only around for a short while. The sandwiches build on the success of special edition food products as consumers crave more variety from their favorite brands.
