Espresso-Infused Milk Punches : milk punch cocktail

For its new restaurant in Covent Garden, Caravan created a milk punch cocktail and generously shared the recipe online so that holiday hosts can whip up delicious drinks for their guests. The clarified coffee and amaretto milk punch was inspired by a love of travel and coffee, and it plays with ingredients like coffee liqueur, brewed espresso, white chocolate and coconut milk. Although there are some naturally dark ingredients used in the recipe, straining the punch through coffee filter paper results in a “clear and silky-smooth cocktail.”

Milk washing has gone from being a novel bartending process to a staple for creating drinks for modern bar menus, and the transparent cocktails captivate drinkers by being as clear as water and yet full of flavor.
