Flower-Shapes Greenhouse Gardens : the opera park

Danish design studio Cobe completes Opera Park, which is a green and lush oasis that can be found along the inner harbor of Copenhagen. It is made up of six modern gardens and a uniquely shaped greenhouse that replicates the look of a flower. The six gardens celebrate different geographic locations including Danish, North American, Oriental, Nordic, English, and subtropical.

Notably, the subtropical garden is located inside the flower-structural greenhouse. Founder of Cobe, Dan Stubbergaard explains that “The Opera Park is a place where nature comes first amidst Copenhagen’s bustling urban development. With its six gardens, winding paths, and carefully crafted viewpoints, the project seizes elements of Copenhagen’s historical, romantic gardens to tackle today’s challenges such as decline in biodiversity and water management.”
