Whiskey House of Kentucky—founded by David Mandell, John Hargrove, and Daniel Linde, is set to commence operations on July 1, 2024, positioning itself as a custom spirit brand. The business aims to be ” the most sophisticated, technically advanced producer of custom bourbon and American whiskey in the United States.” With a substantial investment of over $350 million over the next decade, the distillery, which will focus on large-scale and contract whiskey production, plans to employ around 50 people in 2024 and expand to over 100 employees by 2027.

Whiskey House, having no proprietary brands, aims to redefine the essence of the custom spirit brand through high-quality production, guaranteed capacity, and exceptional customer service to brand partners. The distillery’s property development plan includes traditional rickhouses, warehouses, processing facilities, and access to a prolific limestone aquifer. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technology, including a 48-inch custom still and artificial intelligence applications, Whiskey House plans to capture, analyze, and share data across the entire manufacturing process, offering customers unprecedented insights into their whiskey production.
