Inclusive Tampon Branding : tampon for men

In alignment with International Transgender Awareness Week, Finnish hygiene brand Vuokkoset launched a tampon for men. While the primary function of the product remains the same, the design, packaging and branding of the tampon for men is free from the usual imagery for a more inclusive image that’s representative of the diverse experiences of menstruating individuals. The 16-pack is dark blue in color, with “FOR MENSTRUATION” wrapping around the box in a way that segments a portion of the text to display “FOR MEN” from a forward-facing view.

As detailed in the Q&A section for the tampon for men, Vuokkoset reports that it is also considering the release of a gender-neutral tampon in the future.
