Inflight Snack Stations : snack station

As part of the rollout of United’s new Airbus A321neo plane, the airline is introducing grab-and-go snack stations to bring self-serve snacking to economy fliers. United states that the kiosks will offer a “limited supply of water and the snacks offered during the complimentary service,” including fruit bars from That’s It, Undercover chocolate quinoa crisps and Savory snack mix. During flights, these snacks from the do-it-yourself stations will only be available to fliers after flight attendants have made their first round. Ultimately, these stations will help to support more enjoyable flights and reduce the need for cabin crew to run back and forth serving individual passengers.

In 2022, United opened a Grab-and-Go club at Denver International Airport for time-strapped travelers who don’t have time for the full lounge experience.
