Italian Linguist/ Proofreader – Upwork
We are looking for Italian proofreaders to review Italian AI (machine generated) translations for videos in an existing web-based interface. We are looking to assemble a team of talented and forward-thinking individuals that would like on-going work in the translation/proofreading field.
[NOTE: Must be comfortable working with various content, including Christian content.]
This work is for a startup, and will likely lead to much more work as our service base grows.
Proofreaders must have translation experience, but will only be editing translations.
Because translations are for videos, there may be a need for some transcreation to match more closely the number of characters.
After proofreading is complete, our system will generate voiceover dubbing based on the translation text. Additional scope of work could include the new dubbed Italian audio proofed for sound accuracy.
Our model will be somewhat similar to Rev and other groups that hire proofers or translators based on new projects. If you have experience with one of these groups, please include that in your proposal! Please be sure to include previous proofreading experience as well.
Payment would be based on video hour. If this scope is of interest to you, please provide your bid along with any questions.
