Looking for a YouTube clip finder – Upwork
We are currently looking for a Video Clip Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding compelling, appropriate and high-quality clips to be included in our YouTube videos. The clips should be sourced from platforms other than YouTube.
Responsibilities:
Research and source relevant and interesting clips from various digital media platforms, adhering to copyright and fair use principles.
Evaluate potential clips for quality, relevance, and appropriateness for the context of each video.
Identify and extract the most engaging parts of the found footage for inclusion in our videos.
Work closely with the video editing team to ensure the selected clips fit seamlessly into the overall narrative and aesthetics of our videos.
Maintain an organized database of sourced clips, including details such as source, date, and relevance to our content.
Stay up-to-date with trends, popular culture, and relevant news to ensure the clips are fresh and engaging.
Requirements:
Proven experience in video content research, ideally within the digital media industry.
Excellent internet research skills.
A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of what makes content engaging.
Familiarity with copyright laws and fair use policies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of the YouTube platform, its content, and audience preferences.
Preferred:
A background in film or video production.
Familiarity with video editing software.
