Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst's primary duties are to support the CFO and Finance Director for overall forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will partner with internal teams to prepare the monthly reporting, including consolidating and analyzing financial results. Here is a list of your primary responsibilities:
Alongside the CFO and Finance Director, support the annual business planning process
Create detailed departmental budgets
Track and monitor expenses including weekly variance analysis for on-going projects
Provide post-project reviews and key management reports
Work closely with departmental leads to gather financial data; function as a dotted-line manager for Project Finance Leads
Manage departmental workflow and partner with leadership to develop
KPI’s, variance analysis and reporting
Compare and correct data to improve overall data quality
Verify and back up data to facilitate accurate analyses
Help improve practices/facilitate reporting
Support decision-making by presenting data analysis and interpretation
Create tools or systems, including databases and spreadsheets, to enhance FP&A processes
Respond to ad-hoc requests/analyses as needed
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 7 years experience working in FP&A
Financial savvy and analytical ability
Highly organized/multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Expert level in Excel (Macros, VBA); Advanced PowerPoint
Expertise in financial modeling
Hourly Range: $75.00-$100.00
