Modular Arcade Gaming Systems : polycade sente

Tyler Bushnell designs the Polycade Sente, which is a retro-themed modular gaming system. It supports modern games but also takes on the look of a retro system. It is backed by a blend of hardware features that usually need to remove the controllers to support other types of playing styles and invite more than one player.

Traditionally, arcade systems are usually made as fixed or complete machines but the Polycade Sente has easily swappable kinds of controllers and input devices. This ensures that it can be compatible with different games as the default single panel is great for creating combos between two players. The single-player feature can be supported by the half-panel mounted to insert as cup holders. There are also Light Gun additions for shooting games.
