Native French (CA) Translators & Editors with Gambling experience
What will you do?
Your task includes translating content from English to Canadian French or editing such in FR (CA). The main industry we specialize in for this specific market is iGaming (Casino&Sports Betting) and this is the working background we are looking for in freelancers.
To clarify further, the role of the editor is to check the task briefing (when we refer to writing tasks) and focus on making the text readable by assessing clarity, style, and citations as well as eliminating errors and mistakes in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
When it comes to translation tasks, we expect the editor to compare the translated text with the source file and double-check the quality of the translated content.
You will be in touch with a project manager who will provide guidelines and support through the process.
What is required?
– Native Canadian French speaker with experience in translating or editing content for the Canadian French market on the specific topic (iGaming) with provided samples in advance;
– Flawless writing skills with zero tolerance for mistakes or sloppy quality;
– Ability to commit and strictly follow deadlines as they are crucial for all projects;
– Ability to understand in detail the client’s requirements e.g. structure of the text, style & keywords and follow these on every step throughout the project;
– Easy-going, positive and highly-responsible character;
