Using a Raspberry Pi and a camera module 3:
1) In response to an ON digital input (typically received every 30 seconds), and after a configurable time delay (~10 seconds), capture a still image.
2) Transmit the image via ethernet connection to a central hub
A (future) second phase of the project will be:
3) Recognise a predefined object in the image, using TensorFlow Lite or equivalent
4) Derive two object attributes: vertical height, and surface colour (RGB model, corrected for variations in background lighting, as per ImageJ freeware)
