Pocket-Friendly Premium Samplers : ep 133 ko ii

‘Teenage Engineering’ announced the ‘EP-133 K.O. II’ sampler composer. This is a pocket-sized premium sampler with 64mb of onboard memory. While this may not seem like a lot of memory, those familiar with samplers will know that this is capable of storing quite a few samples. Teenage Engineering rates the 64mb memory at being able to hold 999 samples.

In terms of the technical features, The EP-133 K.O. II improves on its predecessor in many areas. While the full list of features can be seen on Teenage Engineering’s website, the stand-out features include: a 46 kHz sampling frequency, 6 stereo / 12 mono voices, a built-in mic and speakers, and 6 built-in master FX and 12 punch-in FX. Lastly, the device is compact and requires little power, needing only 4x AAA batteries or a USB-C power supply to power it.

Teenage Engineering sells the EP-133 K.O. II for $299 USD, though it quickly ran out of stock, with restocks coming soon.
