Launched in 2023 in the US, this portable and autonomous store offers a convenient shopping experience for EV drivers. The Nomad is designed to be unstaffed and easy to install, perfect for the growing number of EV charging stations.
Customers can enter the Nomad by swiping a card, select their items, and the store’s sensors and cameras create a digital basket for each shopper. This technology is tailored to handle purchases by individuals or groups.
JUXTA has partnered with retailers like Choice Market in Denver and Golden Pantry in Georgia for Nomad installations. The company is also in discussions with EV charging networks to expand its presence.
The Nomad mini marts, which are 264 square feet in size, are expected to roll out across the US in 2023 and in Europe by 2024, offering a compact and efficient solution for quick shopping at EV charging stations.
