Portugal-Based Esports Partnerships : grow up

Portuguese esports non-profit organization Grow uP has partnered with football club Casa Pia A.C., marking a collaboration on various esports and gaming initiatives. The joint efforts include forming a competitive roster under Casa Pia A.C.’s name, educational programs, and more.

The partnership’s primary focus revolves around the EA SPORTS FC game series, with the club entering the eLiga, the official EA FC competition in the Portuguese football league. The collaboration will extend to social projects at the Education and Development Centers of the Casa Pia de Lisboa Institute, emphasizing the use of video games for social good.

“This is a significant milestone for us; this partnership means much more than an Esports team. It aligns with what we aspire to achieve for the project, that is, being closer to young people, and providing them with conditions to feel integrated and happy with video games,” said Tiago Gouveia, Marketing and Sponsorships Manager at Casa Pia A.C.
