Job Title: SAT Tutor (Remote or In Person in Ghana)

Position Overview:
We are looking for talented and experienced SAT tutors who have experience in all or some subjects of the SAT. As an SAT tutor, you will be responsible for delivering, engaging and effective online tutoring sessions to students, helping them master the content and strategies necessary to achieve their target scores. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, as all tutoring sessions will be conducted online.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct online SAT tutoring sessions with students, focusing on all or some subjects of the SAT (Math, Reading, Writing)
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to explain complex concepts and SAT strategies effectively.
– Monitor and track students' performance, identifying areas of weakness and developing targeted practice exercises to address those areas.
– Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them enhance their test-taking skills and increase their confidence.
– Stay updated on the latest digital-SAT test changes, question formats, and scoring criteria to ensure the delivery of accurate and up-to-date information to students.
– Maintain a professional and positive learning environment, fostering motivation and academic growth in students.
Requirements:
– Degree not required but must have proven experience as an SAT, Math, or English tutor, with a track record of helping students achieve significant score improvements.
– In-depth knowledge of subjects covered in the SAT, including Math, Reading, Writing, and Essay.
– Familiarity with the digital SAT test structure, question types, and scoring guidelines.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
– Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
– Technologically proficient and comfortable with online tutoring platforms and tools.
– Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet environment for conducting online tutoring sessions.
– Flexible schedule to accommodate students in different time zones.
– College students, recent grads, and teachers are encouraged to apply
