Task Description:
We are seeking someone to optimize our product attributes management system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that product attributes are accurately displayed on the product page and can function effectively as filters on our Collections pages.
Key Responsibilities:
Attribute Display: Ensure that all product attributes are correctly displayed in the attributes table on the product pages.
Filter Integration: Implement attributes as filters on Collections pages, allowing customers to easily refine their search results.
Attribute Expansion: Manage and maintain a growing list of approximately 230 product attributes, with an understanding that this number may exceed the metafield limit of 250 in the future.
Data Accuracy: Maintain data accuracy and consistency across product attributes, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Documentation: Keep comprehensive documentation of attribute configurations and changes.
We believe that we cannot utilize metafields for attributes because of the 250-limit constraint.
