Marucci and Diamond Kinetics (DK) have unveiled a groundbreaking innovation in youth baseball equipment: the Marucci CATX Smart, the first smart bat integrated with a sensor approved for in-game use by USSSA. This limited-release alloy bat sets a new standard in smart baseball gear, combining traditional playing experience with advanced technology.

The Marucci CATX Smart allows players to track and analyze their performance data seamlessly without the need for an external sensor. Embedded with a Diamond Kinetics Bat Sensor, the bat provides instant visual feedback on swing metrics, covering power, speed, quickness, and control. Players can monitor their progress from practice to in-game performance and engage with interactive training content through the DK mobile app. This bat meets the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) bat standard, making it permissible for in-game play in any USSSA-sanctioned event.

The CATX Smart connects via Bluetooth to Apple (iOS) devices and can store over 100 swings even without app connection. The in-app features include access to swing metrics, customizable profiles, games, and more.
