Social Media Coordinator – Upwork

Job Description: The Social Media Coordinator, is a fully remote position. This person
plays a critical role in ensuring clients communications and tasks are managened from end to
end. Using a creative and proactive approach in ensuring content is informative, appealing, and
on brand. Partnering closely with the CEO, Operations Manager and creative staff, the social
media coordinator researches audience trends, understands the client needs from end to end,
manages client communication, understands KPIs, and manages the content calendar. The
ideal candidate will be an adept communicator, have experience with social media content
management, and be eager and interested in taking ownership of projects and supporting a
growing portfolio.
SM Coordinator Details:
● Maintaining and monitoring assigned social media clients calendars, client
communication, posting & scheduling, social media listening, and client expenditures.
● Knowledge and understanding of each assigned client’s brand.
● Organizing, attending, and participating in client meetings.
● Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
● Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
● Ensuring project deadlines are met.
● Determine and have an understanding of client assets, i.e., videos, reels, images, etc.
● Undertaking project tasks as required.
● Ensure brand accuracy of each assigned client
● Schedule and/or post on assigned clients platforms directly as needed
● Assess social media client risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
● Ensure CEO and Operations Manager views of clients and tasks are managed
towards the best solution.
● Provide Support to creative staff as needed including but not limited to copywriting and
editing
● Reporting for assigned clients.
Qualifications/Skills
● Ability to manage and organize client and digital resources.
● Organizational and project management experience.
● Experience managing an editorial content calendar.
● Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem and social trends.
● Experience with social media measurement and analytics tools.
● Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail with a strong bias for action and urgency.
● Deep understanding of full funnel marketing, experience in managing brand and new
product campaigns.
● Proven ability to influence others utilizing exceptional oral and written communication
abilities.
● Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to incorporate data-driven insights into
programs.

Hourly Range: $30.00-$50.00
