Standing Quadruped Robots : ANYmal robot

The ‘ANYmal’ robot has been engineered by Swiss Mile as a rolling quadruped robot that’s capable of traversing a range of landscapes and much more. The robot is equipped with four legs each affixed with wheels to allow for speedy transition between locations, while the agile design allows the quadruped unit to easily tackle stairs and a range of other demanding terrain. The robot is capable of standing up on its hind legs and can subsequently utilize its front legs for tackling tasks like opening doors or moving boxes.

The ‘ANYmal’ robot identifies a new generation for quadruped-style robotics and showcases how effective it could be in a variety of scenarios for helping human counterparts with common tasks.
