Thai Printed Trousers : cat pants

The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is introducing a new and whimsical addition to its lineup – cat pants. Building on the popularity of elephant-themed apparel, particularly favored by foreign tourists in Thailand, the initiative aims to boost the local economy further and promote cultural identity.

Scheduled to take place from November 23 to 26, 2023, at Suranaree Monument Square, the “MaMuYaa Korat” event is set to be a vibrant celebration of local culture and creativity. The introduction of themed apparel not only caters to the preferences of tourists but also fosters a sense of pride and ownership among the local community.

The trousers are often purchased by tourists who need modest clothing while attending the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Grand Palace.
