Video Editor – Upwork
We’re looking for a video editor to help us create our next documentary!
Video editing is a huge part of our productions, and we love pouring our passion, care and love into the craft, **with a special emphasis on storytelling**.
Other creators and styles that inspire us include Netflix documentaries, James Jani [YouTube], Melody Sheep [YouTube], and Johnny Harris [YouTube].
While experience is valuable, we are more concerned with the overall quality of your work, the time it takes you to create it, and your capacity to learn and work well with others. An ability to work well under time constraints is essential.
### Requirements
– Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred, but exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
– You’re an expert in Premiere Pro, with experience in After Effects being a bonus
– You're able to work to shared deadlines and have content ready to publish when it’s needed, always looking to stay ahead of the game.
– You can work effectively in a team environment. Our process is collaborative, not competitive.
– You can use your initiative to suggest new directions for the edits and overall story direction.
– You’ve seen, read and heard enough of our content to understand the tone and style of our productions.
– You’re ideally based in London, however the role is open to applicants from all locations.
